if you live in an area that the police are bored or the highway patrol is out for blood and all they do is catch speeders, buy it. Dont rely on it, and as with any detector, night time can be tricky, as they use instant on a lot more. I love my V1, its sensitive when it needs to be. And when it detects police radar 95% of the time its a cop, not a bogie, and the tone lets you know its a serious threat. Of course it isnt going to save you from the officer on a bike pacing you, or the plane or helicopter in the air watching you pass the big white lines painted on the road.
